The Award Winning DVD was created by a select 20/20 Productions team consisting of a Producer, Film Animator, Cameraman and Jaz as the Print Designer on the project. Jaz was responsible for designing the Litho printed packaging which was distributed at the launch event and sent to overseas customers.
Jaz was delighted that the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital DVD won the top award for best video/DVD in the Scottish Corporate Communications Awards, run by the CiB (British Association of Communicators in Business). In the words of one of the judges, it has "High energy, punchy images and music - great versatility of the medium allowing maximum usage - well done!"
The outline of Edinburgh’s skyline is drawn across the screen. The skyline merges into the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital logo. A map is shown - an aerial view of Europe and Asia, which is partially covered by clouds. The word EDINBURGH appears from the right hand side of the screen and zooms in to locate Edinburgh within the UK on the map. The brand guidelines were closely followed for continuity purposes across each medium with the Edinburgh skyline used as the focal point across the slate grey cover shot.
